The Gathering Storm belongs in Projects Built With Others, but its questions also belong in the Commons. Wars do not end cleanly for the people who served, the families who waited, the partners left behind, or the communities asked to absorb what followed.
This corner is about the work carried forward: preserving stories, supporting veterans and Afghan allies, acknowledging moral injury, and refusing to reduce a generation of service to a political argument. Community resilience includes memory. It asks us to remain present after public attention moves on.
